SWCOLT is a professional organization whose primary purpose is to plan, organize and supervise an annual meeting for language teachers. In addition, SWCOLT participates in the professional advancement and development of teachers through scholarships, awards, publications and advocacy.
MEMBERSHIP Membership Year begins February 1st and ends January 31st If you are attending the current year's conference, membership is included in the registration. If you are unable to attend the conference, but want to be a current member of SWCOLT, then please print the form from the link above or pay online below.. Regular Membership $50 Retired Educator membership $25 Full-time World Language Education Student Membership $25 State World Language Teachers' Association Membership $100 Did you know? SWCOLT offers each scholarship recipients receive a $300 stipend to help with travel expenses. SWCOLT awards the Regional Teacher of the Year with at $500 honorarium. SWCOLT supports the "Best of SWCOLT" session presenter with $600 to help with costs at ACTFL. We are able to provide these incentives to teachers because of your support for our organization.
